For best results in setting plain rim grommets and washers, use an Osborne No. 500 hole punch and an Osborne No.
216 setting die (sold separately) with corresponding sizes.
Grommet dies and cutters should be used with an Osborne rawhide hammer or wooden mallet, not with a steel hammer.
We recommend our No. 395 rawhide hammers for this purpose.
